As President and Founder of the Portland based firm, The Howells Group, Inc., Karen has worked as an executive coach as well as a leadership, teamwork and organization development consultant for companies large and small around the world for more than 30 years. Karen is also a highly respected and seasoned workshop leader, speaker and meeting facilitator.  Karen and her partners have worked locally, throughout the US, as well as globally for clients such as NIKE, Intel Corporation, American Express, Barco Medical Imaging, Freightliner, Cadence Design Systems, Hewlett Packard and many other Fortune 500 companies, as well as in smaller entrepreneurial companies. Current clients include Intel, Wieden and Kennedy, R2C, Pacific Natural Foods, Solar World, Mass Ingenuity, and Crimson Trace. 
 
Karen lives in Portland, OR with her husband Rob and their Goldendoodle Glory. When not reading the latest in organizational development thinking, she is often creating art through painting, singing and cooking.
